On the Map: Table Rock Lake
Located in southwest Missouri, Table Rock Lake is one of America’s most beautiful destinations for a lake vacation. Boasting nearly five hundred miles of shoreline and sparkling clean water, Table Rock Lake has been our family’s favorite lake vacation destination for nearly twenty years.
Time seems to stop at Table Rock Lake, as you take a break from the hustle and bustle of life and enjoy life on the water. Whether you own a boat or have never set foot on one, and whether you enjoy camping or staying at a luxury resort, Table Rock Lake offers accommodations and experiences to suit every family. That being said, here are some of our Table Rock Lake favorites.
A Day on the Water
While Table Rock Lake and its surrounding area offers wonderful experiences like Silver Dollar City, Branson, Top of the Rock, and so much more, for our family, nothing beats a day on the water. Whether you’re a waterskier, paddleboarder, kayaker, fisher, scuba diver, wakesurfer, wakeboarder, trick skier, or you simply enjoy floating in the water or cruising, nothing beats a day on the pristine waters of Table Rock Lake.Campbell Point Marina
Whether Campbell Point Marina is the destination of a long boat ride or the launch point for your lake experience, you’re sure to enjoy everything this marina has to offer. From delicious ice cream to boat rentals and a store featuring everything from water toys and equipment to apparel, you’re sure to enjoy a trip to Campbell Point Marina.
Still Waters Lakefront Resort
Located just minutes from Silver Dollar City on Indian Point Road, Still Waters Lakefront Resort sits directly on Table Rock Lake and features a variety of room layouts, including luxury lakefront condos, as well as three swimming pools, mini golf, free paddleboards and kayaks, volleyball and basketball courts, on-site pizza and coffee, boat slips, and much much more.
RT’S Family Restaurant
Located in the outdoor shopping mall next to Kimberling Inn, RT’S Family Restaurant is a family-favorite dinner-time destination for delicious pizza (but really everything is good). Its casual atmosphere makes it the perfect place to enjoy tasty food after a long day on the water.
A Friendly PSA about Water Safety
Whether you’re an experienced boat driver or novice, please remember that water safety and the responsible operation of watercraft are vital to everyone enjoying all the lake has to offer. And if you’re born after January 1, 1984, don’t forget: “Missouri’s Boater Education Law went into effect January 1, 2005. The law states that any person born after January 1, 1984 must successfully pass a Missouri Boater Education class/test before operating any motorized vessel ON THE LAKES OF THE STATE.” (Taken from the Missouri State Highway Patrol website.)
